Monde Nissin Foundation was an invited observer at the 2026 Caritas Philippines National Social Action General Assembly (NASAGA), at the Mother of Grace Convention Center in Tagaytay City.

Caritas Philippines, the social action arm of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) conducts their annual general assembly to align on their priority social action initiatives.   Speaking at this year’s plenary was Dr. Karol Mark Yee, Executive Director of the Second Congressional Commission on Education, highlighted the current plight of education in the Philippines.  Citing foundational deficiencies in pre-school nutrition and education, Dr. Yee made a strong call for immediate intervention.

Nutrition is core to MNFI’s purpose and the foundation’s partnership with Caritas Philippines PaMealya Feeding program hopes to directly address nutrition gaps in targeted communities.
