Monde Nissin Foundation Supports DSWD’s Walang Gutom Cook-Off Challenge National Finals

Monde Nissin Foundation proudly showed its support for the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Walang Gutom Kusinero: Cook-Off Challenge National Finals, a highlight of the Walang Gutom Program that promotes nutritious, practical, and affordable meals for Filipino families.

The event, attended by DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, Undersecretary Eduardo Punay, and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, showcased the creativity and skills of participants in preparing healthy and budget-friendly dishes.

Representing the Foundation, Atty. Olive Misa, Member of the Board of Trustees, expressed alignment with the program’s mission:

“This challenge empowers families through nutrition education and equips them with life skills to support their livelihoods. We see great value in programs that offer not just immediate relief, but long-term hope,” said Atty. Misa.

The Walang Gutom Program reflects a vision that Monde Nissin Foundation shares: a future where hunger is addressed through education, community empowerment, and multi-sectoral action. Initiatives like the cook-off create lasting impact by providing meals that nourish, skills that empower, and communities that thrive.

Monde Nissin Foundation remains committed to supporting efforts that uplift lives and move the Philippines closer to a hunger-free future.
